What a great day we had in Kia Ora visiting santa, feeding the reindeer, petting the rabbits and lots more ?

After School Art Club
GETNS After- School Art Club begins Tuesday 5th April.
It runs for 8 Tuesdays up until Tuesday 24th May.
It is run by Louise Redmond and Niamh Murphy.
It will take place in Louise’s Classroom every Tuesday starting after Easter.
€40 for 8 weeks.
It’s a place where children can learn new skills, further the skills they already
have and explore art through fun and exciting workshops.
If you’re interested in joining please email louise@goreyeducatetogether.ie or
put an envelope with the €40 into front office with Louise or Niamh on front.
Envelope should contain your name, your class, parent/ guardian signature and contact details.

We were very privileged to be asked by Saoirse’s mum Bernie if we would like to both sample and taste her scones for “Ireland’s Best Scone Award”. What better class to have some fun baking scones with only Junior Infants. Thanks Bernie, we are happy to taste your scones anytime…..

What a busy few weeks it has been all round our school. Junior Infants were busy baking for class of the week, eating ice cream on Fun and Friendship Day and dressing up as book characters for World Book Day.

Louise’s class were both scared and excited when they luckily got to see and touch a giant snake, a lizard, a snapping turtle, a tortoise and even a crocodile!!
