2nd Classes climb Tara Hill!
As part of SESE the three second classes along with Jamie-Lee, Teresa, Deirdre, Daire and Andrea went on a hike up Tara Hill which is a wooded hill near the coastline that can be seen from many parts of Northeast Wexford. We were fortunate to have a crisp, dry and clear day for our trip and everyone was well prepared! A great day was had exploring in nature, admiring the stunning views, tree-hugging and of course some picnic-pit stops to refuel! We (almost 70 GETNSers!) reached the cairn at the summit in good time with lots of first-timers vowing to go again in future – we look forward to hearing about your hillwalking adventures and are glad you all had a wonderful day!

Recyclable Materials Inventions
As part of SESE recently we had been learning about recycling and inventors – we decided to make our own inventions from recyclable materials. Lots of creative results – a jetpack, rockets, an underwater world, a camera, a truck, a bedroom, a house, lanterns, fairies, a cricket bat, an owl and an owl bird-feeder and many more on display at our classroom. Well done second class on a great effort and presentation today
