Walk to School, Green Flag and Action Days Photos
Thank you to all who participated in our recent ‘Walk to School’ event. This walk was extra special as we got to walk with our new green flag and chant our new green code. Also check out the photos of Alessia, Daniel and Jack receiving our new flag at the ceremony in Kilkenny. You also might have noticed all the posters that were created on our Action Day which promote a sustainable way of travelling to school. These link all the classes in the school to show our team effort in walking/ cycling/ scooting/ car pooling/ coming on the bus/ parking and striding to school. Well done everyone.

Food Dudes
Food dudes is a healthy eating programme. Our school has been participating in the Food Dudes programme for last few weeks. Everyday your teacher gives you a portion of fruit and vegetables and at the end of the day your teacher will give you a prize if you eat some or all of it. We tasted lots of different types of fruit and vegetables such as cucumber, oranges, peppers, apples etc. We watched videos about two girls and two boys who stopped the junk punks from taking all the fruit and vegetables. Now we are in Phase 2 and we have to bring in our own fruit and vegetables in our Food Dudes lunchbox. Food Dudes is great fun!
