This month our class created Stop Motion Projects. First we decided what we were going to do. Then we wrote our stories (storyboard) and made our backdrops. Next we filmed our stop motion with an iPad. Finally we put sound on our videos and saved the videos. We hope you like our stop motion videos.

Last week third class worked in groups and researched the experiences of children in developing countries. Each group created an e-book about the life of children in the country they were researching. Have a look at some of our e-books!

Third class have been working very hard over the last two weeks to write, create, record and edit animated movies as gaeilge for Seachtain na Gaeilge. Have a look at some of our creations! 🙂

We had a great day in 2nd Class presenting projects. Two weeks of research & structuring their work to the end products. Topics were varied including Animatronics, Knitting, Musical instruments, Volcanos, World Wars, Donald Trump, Geology, Animals & many more wonderful ideas. The pupils made their presentations in booklets, posters, timelines, PowerPoint and also usedsome models, samples and quizzes. Well done everyone, a great learning experience for us all & such enthusiasm for the task!
Hour of Code took place worldwide from December 5-11th. Our class took part and really enjoyed it. We really enjoyed Minecraft, Flappy Bird and Moana coding.
