As part of SESE the three second classes along with Jamie-Lee, Teresa, Deirdre, Daire and Andrea went on a hike up Tara Hill which is a wooded hill near the coastline that can be seen from many parts of Northeast Wexford. We were fortunate to have a crisp, dry and clear day for our trip and everyone was well prepared! A great day was had exploring in nature, admiring the stunning views, tree-hugging and of course some picnic-pit stops to refuel! We (almost 70 GETNSers!) reached the cairn at the summit in good time with lots of first-timers vowing to go again in future – we look forward to hearing about your hillwalking adventures and are glad you all had a wonderful day!
