AccesScience: Congratulations to Sophie R, Áine, Jamie and Zara who were prize-winners in the AccesScience ’09 poster competition on the theme of Science: What’s on the horizon? Prints of their winning posters will be displayed on DART trains and stations as part of the Science Track series, a joint initiative between Iarnród Éireann and the Conway Institute at UCD. Overnight trip: Parents of 5th and 6th class pupils are reminded that an optional overnight trip to the Eco Adventure Centre will take place on Thursday 18th and Friday 19th June. Total cost, including bus, accommodation, food and activities: €120. Balances can be paid in instalments, if desired. Drama teacher Catherine Byrne will focus on a particular aspect of drama in each workshop. She aims to promote creativity and confidence. Junior and Senior Infants: 1.30-2.30pm. 1st—6th classes: 2.30-3.30pm. 2. Guitar: €56 for eight Thursdays. 1st-6th classes only: 2.30-3.30pm. Enrolment takes place this Thursday, 23rd April at 8.40am.
