For PTA after-school activities each child’s parent or guardian takes a turn at supervision. This means arriving 10 minutes early on your allocated day; being available to the after-school teacher and the children during the activity; and helping with dismissal for ten minutes after the activity. All supervising parents must also complete a Garda Vetting (‘police check’) form, for the attention of the school principal.
Parents, please ensure that the child is willing to undertake the after-school activity. (No refunds available for ‘change-of-mind,’ being dropped from the class because of disruptive behaviour, etc.)
Footwear: It’s important that the children wear suitable footwear to school. Sturdy shoes or runners work best. Wearing unsuitable boots, sandals, heels, etc. means the child can’t fully participate in PE lessons or playground games.
Lost and Found: Our overflowing lost and found cupboard will be emptied this Friday. All items without nametags will be sent to the recycling centre.
1.30-2.30 Supervision/Activity Session for Infants: this activity will continue to be offered until the end of June. Parents: payments must be kept up-to-date. Thanks.
